About Me
Hello, lovely reader.
I’m Taylor — the dreamer, reader, and fire-heart book lover behind 518 Romantasy. Like many Romantasy fans, I grew up falling into worlds filled with magic, powerful heroines, dangerous quests, and love stories that could change the fate of kingdoms.
Books have always been my favorite form of adventure. Between their pages I found dragons to fly with, enchanted forests to wander, and characters who felt like old friends. But more than anything, I fell in love with the kind of stories where magic and romance intertwine — where two characters find each other in the middle of chaos, destiny, and adventure.
Eventually I realized something: every reader deserves a little magic… and maybe a little romance too.
So, I decided to create a place where fantasy romance lovers could find stories that make their hearts race, their imaginations soar, and maybe even leave them a little breathless by the final page.
That place became 518 Romantasy.
About 518 Romantasy
518 Romantasy began as a small online bookstore and reader community built on a love of fantasy romance — a place for book clubs, curated reads, and mysterious “blind date with a book” surprises meant to spark that same thrill as meeting a new love interest in your favorite story.
But like any good adventure, the story didn’t stop there.
Now, the magic travels.
518 Romantasy is becoming a Upstate New York's first mobile bookstore catering specifically to Romance & Fantasy. We'll be bringing Romantasy stories across the 518 region in a book-filled trailer that feels like stepping into a tiny fantasy world. Inside you’ll find shelves of enchanted tales — from fae courts and dragon riders to slow-burn romances, enemies-to-lovers tension, and epic adventures where love might just save the world.
Our mission is simple:
to bring magical stories directly to readers and create a cozy space where fellow book lovers can gather, explore new worlds, and fall in love with stories again and again.
Because sometimes the greatest adventures…
begin with opening a book — and maybe meeting your next favorite love story along the way.
